Who Should Play J. Jonah Jameson In Marvel's 'Spider-Man' Reboot!?!

By Aric Sweeny

What's up guys and gals,

J. Jonah Jameson is one of the most important and popular characters in Peter Parker’s life. In Marc Webb’s two Spider-Man films, we didn’t get a chance to see an actor portray this character on screen, and we’re all assuming that Jon Watts’ take on the franchise will change that up. Ultimately, my choice to play J. Jonah Jameson in the upcoming reboot is none other than JK Simmons once again, but that’s pretty unlikely. With that said, here are my picks as to who should play the character in the next Spidey film.

First on my list is Rob Riggle, Riggle has shown his comedic mannerisms, which are perfect for this role. Riggle would also nail the ‘sarcastically narcissistic’ vibe that Jameson has.

Kevin Hart, Jameson’s loud and wacky nature fits Hart perfectly, not to mention it would add some racial diversity to the MCU.

Nerds all around the world have been wanting Ron Perlman in a comic book movie once again, and J. Jonah Jameson is a great fit. Perlman has fantastic comedic timing and would embarrass Peter with punchlines galore.

He’s great in “Parks and Rec,” and he’d be great in “Spider-Man” too. Yep, my choice is Nick Offerman. His dry humor and emotionless stare would bring a unique sense of humor to the film. With Parker being so young, a younger Jameson would also fit.

Michael Keaton, Face it, this guy can do anything. He already has the right look, and his acting is obviously good enough to nail this role.
