Jena Malone To Appear As Barbara Gordon In 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn Of Justice'!?!

By Matt O'Bryant

What's up guys and gals,

Rumors have been swelling to the brim all year about different scenarios and casting for next year's highly anticipated Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice.  One of the most speculated casting rumors was that of Jena Malone after she was spotted on set with friend and director Zack Snydor.

First came the rumors that she would be playing a version of the character Carrie Kelley who becomes Robin late in Batman's career after Dick Grayson and Jason Todd.  Now it appears we have a new and perhaps better idea of who Malone will be playing in the film.

And Its none other than Commissioner Gordon's daughter.

According to a report by Latino Review:

A few weeks ago, while at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, I found out some information about who Jena Malone will be playing in “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.”

Well, now I got the third source and can exclusively reveal that she will playing Barbara Gordon.

Now, will she become Batgirl or Oracle, as she has in the comics? Who knows? Only time will tell.

This news contradicts earlier reports, when Malone was first cast, that she’d be playing a version of Robin based on the young, female Carrie Kelley depicted in Frank Miller’s “The Dark Knight Returns.”
