Fantasy Drafting:  Marvel Studios “Adult” Peter Parker/Spider-Man

Welcome back everyone to the Marvel Studios Spider-Man draft! Recently we at East Coast Movie Guys have sat down and discussed who we would enjoy playing the different incarnations of Spider-Man with that being both Peter Parker and Miles Morales. This will be the final chapter in our Spider-Man Fantasy Draft which will be centered around the “Adult” version of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, because Marvel has announced that they are officially done with origin stories so what if that means they’ll pick up the Spider-Man legacy while Peter Parker is an adult? Granted Marvel did also make clear that they want to return Spider-Man to high school for their cinematic universe, but what if they decided to pull a fast one on the audience and media in saying just that? Down below are the names that we at East Coast Movie Guys have ranked that should portray the iconic Peter Parker/Spider-Man as an adult! So with that being said let’s do what we do best here at, and that’s fantasy drafting who should play Adult Peter Parker in the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Round One drafts… Scott Porter! Mainly known for playing “Jason Street” on Friday Night Lights and is currently on The CW’s “Hart of Dixie” these shows are only the tip of the iceberg with Porter’s talents. Porter has also done multiple voiceovers for both the X-Men and Wolverine TV Series (Scott Summers/Cyclops) and little known fact Scott Porter and Marvel Studio do indeed have history as Porter was in the top 5 and/or 3 for being casted as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Porter in various interviews has made it known of his background knowledge of his love of comic books while growing up, and also his deep interest in one day portraying one on the big screen!

Round Two drafts… Aaron Paul! Hugely now known as “Jesse Pinkman” from AMC’s “Breaking Bad” , Paul hasn’t been doing much since his first motion picture “Need for Speed” debuted in theaters. If you’ve ever seen “Breaking Bad” then you know Aaron Paul has not only the comedic factor about him, but also Paul presents that ordinarily everyday man presents that is Peter Parker. Given the chance we here at East Coast Movie Guys believe that Aaron Paul could defiantly give audiences and diehard Spider-Man fans the Peter Parker/Spider-Man that they’ve been craving indeed of for years now.

Round Three drafts…Shia LeBeouf! There’s a reason why it’s called a “Dark Horse” choice, because this one completely says it all in the actors name! Now say whatever you want about LeBeouf’s personal life, but you can’t ignore the fact that when LeBeouf hits the screen he brings such a performance that it captivates the audience. Awkward, charismatic, and entertaining are just the similar traits that both make up Peter Parker/Spider-Man in which LeBeouf without a doubt defiantly can portray in screen with easy, because he’s that good of an actor. Now granted LeBeouf probably would only do the role if Peter Parker/Spider-Man would be killed off due to him probably not wanting to do the entire fan fair that Marvel Studio’s does, but you never know for certain with this actor.

Now with these three actors being tossed into the mix of Marvel’s potential Peter Parker/Spider-Man will they actually cast an “adult” version Peter Parker?  If you have some names you want to throw in the hat for those choices comment down below!  Other than that I would like to say thanks for taking time out of your day to give this a read, and what do you think about the potential names for “Adult” Peter Parker/Spider-Man?
